Shop sign prices ... How long is a piece of string?.... Advice
Each day we receive phone calls from people asking us how much it would be for a shop sign, and for rough shop sign prices. Although we are always glad of the enquiries, and always more than happy to help, to answer the questions requires a little more information.
When you decide that you are interested in having a new shop sign installed, firstly think, what do I want this sign to say about my business? Do you want to to be understated, professional, highly visible, loud, colorful? Don't worry if you do not know exactly what you want, because that is why you employ a professional sign company, to produce designs for you to show you what is possible, but if you have a few ideas, it can often help.
With all products of this nature it is always best to get the opinions of a professional. We always suggest a site visit, to see what is existing, and to discuss what you are looking for. This allows for us to see what is existing, both in terms of the signage and what the new signage will be fixed to, electrics, drainage, access and many other factors that need to be considered, and most importantly what you are able to have in its place. Once this has been done, the fun part starts, the designing.
Once all of your shop sign ideas and thoughts have been taken on board, and taking a note of what is possible to do, we would produce a mock up draft design for you to see. This is always the first step of the design process, sometimes you get it right first time, and come up with an initial design that is loved by all, but this is not always the case. Never be afraid to ask to see changes to the design, or different options, because don't forget, the customer is always right.
When a final design is agreed upon between both parties, then a final shop sign price can be put together. By doing it this way it means that there are never any crossed wires. If we were to quote on a sign in the middle of the design process, and then the design changed dramatically, the price may have changed aswell. This way the customer is always clear and happy about what they are paying for.
